Bike Ride through the Iron Horse Trail down the John Wayne Trail to Olallie State Park
Bike Ride: Sign up Here
Want to try a new adventure? Ride your bike thru an old train tunnel, down hill all the way to Olallie State Park! The path is made of compact gravel and is straight and level. It is cold and dark in the tunnel, so come prepared! Warm (layered)clothes and a light for your bike or helmet are a must. Reflective clothing is helpful too. The tunnel is 2.3 miles one way.
We will stop at the end of the tunnel and regather. Those who wish to turn around can do so. All others can continue on the slight downhill grade another 12 miles to Olallie State Park. We will plan ahead to leave cars at Olallie for carpooling back up to Snoqualmie Pass.
Start: I-90 to Hyak. Follow signs to the John Wayne Iron Horse Trail State Park/Snoqualmie Tunnel. We will meet at the trailhead at 1PM sharp! Be ready to go! There are bathrooms available.
Make sure you bring plenty of snacks and water for the ride!
