Our Spring Family Camp is at Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation WA.      (http://www.kingcounty.gov/recreation/parks/inventory/toltmacdonald.aspx)

The park is about 40 minutes from Kirkland on 203, just a little ways north of Remlinger Farms.  The park is situated right near where the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers merge and some good hiking and mountain biking trails can be found across the river.

The Spring Family camp is a great opportunity to camp as a family and finish those important outdoor elements that the scout need to earn their badges.  We will enjoy spending time at the rivers, biking and hiking, doing achievements, a campfire program that will be put on by the scouts, and even a little relaxation!  Bring the whole family!

Fee is $35.00 per family to cover the cost of the campsite rental

Check in is anytime after 3:00 PM on Friday, May 19

Check out on Sunday, May 21 is 12:00 PM

  • Families are responsible for their own food and equipment (however some of our families may have extra equipment, so please ask if you need something!)
  • We will have hiking and biking, scout achievements, a hike, and unstructured time for all the families to hang out with one another.

Most of the activities for this event will be divided by dens. Families are responsible for their own meals unless there is a planned meal that is required for rank. Please discuss within your den.

Each den is responsible to create their own schedule to meet their rank camping requirements.  Suggested activities will very per rank requirement, however hiking, nature observation, cooking over the campfire, whittling, lashings, first aid, are all possibilities.

The Pack will host a campfire program on Saturday evening after dinner where dens can perform skits and songs.  This is always a favorite time with the scouts and we always find some hidden talent!  We finish off the evening by feasting on s’mores!

If you would like to join us we  have 9 sites booked which can take up to 2 tents and 8 people per site (up to 4 adults per site). Please RSVP with how many people would be coming with you and for each day you would be at the camp out. You may be sharing a campsite with one other family but there is plenty of space and room for the kids to run!

Daytime Option

If you can’t camp or do not want to camp but would like to join us, please come out to the park on Saturday, May 19th. We will be working on various achievements for all den levels throughout the day, including planning a scout campfire program which all ranks needs to participate in to finish their badges this year. The Scout Campfire program will start promptly at 7pm and end at 9pm.  We would love to have you join us.Version:1.0

This is the last camping opportunity before our Crossover on June 7th.
