I am the Bear Den Leader and have a son who is a Wolf scout. As a boy I was involved in Scouting from being a Tiger Scout in first grade through earning the Rank of Eagle as a Boy Scout in high school. I have many fond memories from Scouting especially from Boy Scouts, from going to summer camp, earning merit badgers, being a patrol leader and attending high adventure camps like Philmont, Sommers Canoe Base, Sea Base and the National Jamboree. I wanted my sons to have the same experiences and memories, and I want to help shape those experiences, so that is why I became a Den Leader. Also, the adult leaders that I interacted with as a scout had a large positive impact on me and being a leader in scouting is one of the ways I can give back to a program that has given so much to me.
